Your brain will trick you that the sounds from these speakers are real!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you were to research the company, you would find that they have been around for a long time. In Europe, they use the brand name Tannoy in place of the word loudspeaker...like most Americans use the brand name Band-Aid instead of adhesive bandage. You would also learn they have been perfecting the sound that comes out of their speakers to be exactly the same as the human ear hears it. They have accomplished this. (more on that later.) Their speakers have also been perfected for intelligibility...so you can clearly hear and understand every word. I was once in a TV studio when the sound guy was playing a CD of sound effects. Even though I knew this, the sound was so reel I kept finding myself turning my head to see a city bus speeding by me, then a subway train speeding behind me. Years later, I told this story to another Engineer I was helping to install a pair in another TV studio. Even though I warned him he would think the sound effects he was about to hear are real, and that he would keep turning his head and expect to see such thing... nevertheless, he kept doing just that over and over again. He said that I didn't warn him good enough that this would happen. We were trying to wire up some MIC's across the studio and he kept turning around to see what he was hearing! Somehow your brain tricks you into thinking these sounds are real, even after you prepare yourself before listening. True stories, that's why most broadcasters and video editors use them. I've never needed to look at any other brand or listen to any other speakers after these experiences. My whole-house audio, backyard and home theater only has Tannoy speakers. Enjoy!

Works well, as manual explains.
This is my 2nd install of an electric, tank-less water heater. The other brand was installed in my NY home, this unit in my VA home. Both are very similar in install and operation. This unit lights up upon water flowing thru it and gives a comprehensive status report. I like that and the fact I can monitor it working right after install. As the years go by these units are getting less expensive, smaller and more efficient. This company has been around since the 1950's so I felt confident with my purchase. So much room left over and quiet operation...I love it. Make sure you have the correct amount of electric service coming into your home. You can ask your electric company for a service upgrade...most upgrades are free or minimal cost since they are making it easier for you to buy more power from them, and if you plan on staying in your home for the next 20-30 years that's more $$ to them.
