I farm on a few acres in the middle of nowhere. I can't grow tomatoes, the livestock is 1 dog and 3 cats, but I have a beautiful view. I love to walk in the woods, watch birds, fish for yard sales, hunt in thrift stores, and cruise eBay for deals.

Sophomoric humor.
0 of 1 found this helpful Bought for my brother. He's 40 pages in and says it's a lot of sophomoric humor using farts and puke as comedy, something he doesn't find funny. Nor do I. It must appeal to a lot of other people as it won a posthumous Pulitzer. Oh well.

New perspective
This book gives a different perspective than was taught in school.

For the woodworker not the homeowner.
This soft cover has beautiful illustrations and detailed instructions for building more complex projects than the average homeowner has the tools and skills to build. I was looking for simple, easy to build chairs, benches, arbors and other such projects for my deck and yard out in the country. I also purchased the four book set "2 X 4" by Stevie Henderson & Mark Baldwin. It uses simple tools, joints, and materials that are readily available and projects that are easy to build.
