Best irons I've had!
1 of 1 found this helpful To start with, the irons are good-looking. Topline is not fat and clumsy as are many sets purporting to be game-improving. The lightweight steel shafts are right for me at R flex and standard length (37.75" 5-iron). I purchased the M-21 grips and built them up with 2 layers of tape and a little extra in the right hand. Upon taking them to the range the first time to compare with my old set, TA 845m muscle backs, I immediately noticed how much cleaner the Mizunos cut through the turf---they did not dig! This is especially helpful on my home courses that have mostly thin turf caused by last summer's drought. In fact, the soles are just a little deeper and have two angles, similar to, but less pronounced than, the Eidolon wedges. They are all that I could ask for...good looks and good performance.

Improved feel with shaft change.
I was looking to put a Titleist 46 degree wedge in my bag and found this one on eBay. My other wedges have KBS wedge shafts and after changing out the stiff TT shaft and putting on my favorite grip the club is a winner! The condition of the club as received was excellent and the shipping was fast, so I'm quite pleased.

Shortgame perfection
1 of 1 found this helpful This club is the one used by shortgame guru Stan Utley. I bought it on his recommendation and found it to be invaluable around the greens. It puts tremendous spin on the ball when you hit a "pinch shot" yet can be lofted high and soft when you use the 14 degree bounce on the sole. Get this club, a 52*- and a 47*-wedge and you're set!
