A great lens that takes practice
First of all, I am a big fan of Rokinon lenses. They are cheap, but still take stunning video and photos. This 35mm cine ds is on the heavy side, but it is reasonable. There is definitely a learning curve to this lens. Photos can be difficult to take in low light situations where there is significant movement because you need a fairly fast shutter speed but not too wide of an aperture to where its difficult to get in focus. However, a manual focus lens if a great lens to start with. You really get an understanding of your camera's little "quirks" with a mf lens. It's a fun lens and there is a lot you can do with it, both video and photo. I definitely recommend this lens to anyone wanting to get good practice with video.
