A very pleasant surprise.Quality product.
This is the first aluminum mold I have used. I have over thirty years of using expensive, steel molds and tried this Lee mold and loved it. It took very little time to break the mold in. I did use the smoking technique but after approximately 100 rounds, the mold did not need any additional smoking. These rounds dropped perfectly and filled out well in the mold.
Spru functioned well and the mold opened and closed easily. Took very little attention to make sure that the mold did not "spider" and leave additional strands of lead. Great mold.
