this is the best and safest can opener. I would not have anything else. Many years ago I nearly lost my foot stepping on the sharp edge of a side opening can, the type that supplied with a key on the side for opening. The regular top opening can opener can also be dangerous because the top is razor sharp.

A problem with the shredder.
We like the shredder, but just a week after we received it , the shredder turned on automatically and will not stop. Touching the metal band on top and it will stop but as soon as you remove the finger it starts up again. I do not want to open it up because I can turn it on and off from the switch on the rear. Otherwise I think it is great. I would give it a five star except for this one problem.

small,convenient and easy to type with and not a big spacy monster. A real moneys wort.
