SEX PISTOLS - Filthy Lucre Live '96 - CD
0 of 1 found this helpful I'm glad I bought this as I was at the punk festival in London in 1996 and the Sex Pistols were amazing. They have lost little of their power over the years and Steve Jones is still a great guitarist. Their tightness as a band is as good in the '70s. The CD captures that great night in 1996 with John Lydon's snarling vocals and a general sense of a celebration of their music. Also on the bill was The Buzzcocks and Stiff Little Fingers as well as others. On the night, the Pistols finished with No Fun, a cover of the Stooges classic which is missing from the CD, but was broadcast on Radio 1 that evening. I used to have the LP of the gig but I can't remember if it had this track. Overall, a great CD which brought back many good memories of some '90s anarchy!

Very good useful set of crew figures.
Tamiya have been producing figures using 3d scanning technology for the last few years. First time I noticed the jump in quality figures was the ones with the reissued upgraded Ford GPA.
I really like this set. The poses are useful and changing the poses via converting isn't difficult as they're just plastic. You get more figures than in most other manufacturers sets and the price is very reasonable. Uniform insignia decals included which is great, and rare in figure sets. The detail is very nice. Folds of the uniforms are sharp, faces all look different and individual. The only niggle I have personally is that I think that not all the hands and fingers are as sharply defined as the rest of the figure, some might disagree. Not really a big deal, as the many pluses outweigh this minor thing . You can't have too many Panzer crew figures options out there. I'd like Tamiya to do some winter Panzer crewmen at some point. Their newish Nashorn has a winter crew so here's hoping.
The new high quality 3d scanned generation of tamiya figures might prompt other manufacturers to up their game which can only be a good thing for us modellers. Hopefully some similarly high quality Allied infantrymen or crew will follow.

Small compared to other 1/35 figures.
Detail is not bad but seem quite small compared to other 1/35 figures. The female figure in particular is very small. Mixing with other brands may be a problem. The dog is nice though. Dogs are always nice.
