Only one thing missing.
2 of 2 found this helpful Great replacement for those pile of dookie federally mandated spouts for modern "water" cans. There's only one thing missing ... a cap to go between the spout and the screw on lid where it attaches to the can.
I keep 10 five gallon "water" cans on my boat, and I live in the worlds' largest temperate rain forest. I store my cans with the spout in the can, and after sitting in the rain, the spouts fill with water. (None in the fuel though) the same thing happens with the federally mandated cans.
Overall these spouts are a vast improvement over the federally mandated can spouts ... you can actually pour "water" with them.(Some congressman has a rich uncle now from that patent) I fashioned a cap from some heavy sheet plastic, so the missing piece isn't a big deal.
