Captain Hydra

Another winner from Prince Paul and Dan the Automator
I bought this album based on the strength of Lovage, which was also done by Dan and Prince Paul. There are numerous guest stars on this album, among them Mike Patton, Cat Power, De La Soul, Linkin Park, Jack Johnson. The songs they create are all incredibly different but all incredibly good. The skits in between are not very good, but they are sometimes humorous. My favorite songs "Are You Down With it" and "Breakdown".

Mu-saic.
How best to describe? Danny Elfman as imagined through eastern european filters. The music is a mix of all kinds of beautiful bits wrapped into one single masterful blanket. If you like good music, you'll feel right at home with this band.
