Value for the Money Digital Camera
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this for my wife as a carry-around camera, not for a "pro" or "semi-pro" use. I like that it takes AA's (rechargeables, too), and is fairly easy to use for someone who is all thumbs. The L11 takes really good movies (if you need to use that feature), and is very good with taking pics in a modest room with flash. Fairly heavy, but thats good as it feels firm. The flap to get to the SD card is OK, but the battery cover takes a few tries to get it right.
The start-up time is acceptable, but the time to write to a card or be able to take a pic after a flash shot is rather long, but that may be due to the moderated capacity of the AA's vs a battery-pack unit. (Compared to my own Canon SD camera) The screen is nice and clear. The zoom is OK, but the in/out speed is fast, so you need to practice a bit with the thumb bar to get that to be useful in a pinch, otherwise leave it as normal.
I cant rate the software, as I use iPhoto on a Mac, and it links-up just fine.
For what I paid, I think it is a good value.

YellowGreen it is!
Very nice model truck addition for someone who collects diecast cars or has a brand-loyalty affinity to the real thing. My neighbor has a the actual truck in this color, and this a great gift that I gave him to decorate his office.

Keeps the old Casio watches in use.
With some of my basic Casio watches going on 10-12 years old, the poly-rubber type bands will split every 3 years (give or take usage) around where the clasp wears against it. so a replacement band is handy.
Does the job!
