A great sounding product at a great price with longevity issues
0 of 1 found this helpful A great sounding product at a great price. Samsung has obviously had some quality control issues in their 'second run,' or they've stopped gluing the logo cap, cable-stay-ring, and driver housing together.
My 'first run' pair had one side of the headphone cable at the remote/mic fail leaving one ear silent.
I've had a couple of 'second run' pairs lose their logo caps and the cable-stay-ring release from the housing - even had the driver housing easily split in half as the construction is 'snap together'.
These are well worth the price for the sound quality if you pop off the logo cap and put a little krazy/super glue in the seams of it and the cable ring to hold everything together

An OEM part without an OEM lens - No glare reduction
This is not an OEM lens. The rest of the part is oem and fits great, but the lense itself does not have a glare reduction coating as the original did. It looks like this lens is another type of regular plastic. It doesn't cause optical problems with the camera, but there was a reason the original was coated for glare reduction. In certain situations you might see quality degredation in your photos - if you have scratched the coating off of your original camera cover, you already know this.
