Heavy but you get use to it.
It wasn't overly priced and it is in great shape I had one before this one but it quit working. So I bought another I like the d 7000 as it is easy to use and it takes very good pictures.

Over all it's a great camera.
It's small and light easy to handle. It's hard to get to learn about this camera, I'm not use to a very small screen. But other then some minor issues the camera it's self is a great little unit. It takes amazing pictures.

Nice price great value.
This Camera is light weight easy to use I added it to my collection of Nikon Cameras i have. I like the fact i can use either the eye piece or the screen when taking pictures. I now have 5 Nikon cameras in my collection. The 8700 will be good for my street photography when added to my Nikon D 7000.
