I buy it all like other consumers. I shop the stores first and I then come to EBay to see if a better price is offered. I believe that Wal-Mart is the killer of the independent merchant and I only go there when I have no choice. Fair price clean sell

Noisey but works great
For many years I had a red 8500-50 escort. I loved it up until it was stolen. I went with the Bel because of online pricing. It is as good as the escort on performance. It is a bit noisier in the city but that only reminds me to watch my speed and there is a button for that. The only real issue is that the design with the blue lights cannot be seen in the daylight sun. At times I have to lay a small piece of paper over it to see the light meter. I don’t remember this problem with the escort. Maybe I should have selected the red instead.
