Good specialized book on the role of the L&N Railroad during the Civil
I have always been interested in the role of the L & N Railroad during the Civil War. This book should help me answer some of the questions in my mind on this subject. Since the L & N was one of the only railroads linking the North (Ohio River) with the deep south, it played a pivotal role in the way the Civil War was waged. It was also a high profile target of both Union and Confederate troops throughout the War. It is a unique book and not many books address the specifics that are covered by this publication. I enjoyed the book and, yes, I would purchase it again (if I did not already have it).

Good book on area L&N Railroads. Reasonably priced
I am a railroad fan, especially L&N. This book filled in a gap in my library where I had little or no information. It will be helpful in my research on the L&N Railroad. It has some useful information not previously available on the area railroads.
