Fairly easy even for a novice
1 of 1 found this helpful Delighted with finished dress. First dress I've made. Found it hard to cut out a size 18 when my bought dress size is 12 but it was quite accurate. I made mine longer than recommended in the pattern. Being new to dressmaking it took a while to comprehend all the terminology on the instructions though it is clearly explained if you look carefully. Will make it again and be quicker the next time.

Gigi, romantic comedy of light entertainment
0 of 1 found this helpful This was a musical I had never seen but heard about. I read about some of the actors in a magazine and decided I would like to see it. Of course 50 years on some of the ideas seem very dated, if rather sweet, i.e that marriage is the only thing a woman might want and in getting to that point life's quest was over. One of the actresses reminded me very strongly of someone and it took me a while to think who it was. Eventually it clicked: Lesley Joseph. On checking it turned out that the GIGI actress was her aunt. Watch it and you will see what I mean. Anyway, back to the film, yes it is a romantic bit of fun and the acting is good; however I doubt that I will watch it a second time now that I know what it is about.

Ideal sturdy product
It's been doing its job all summer. Ideal for my kinky hose. I put it in the shed with a garden bucket below to take any drips from the hose.
