Everything you ever wanted to know...
...or thought you knew about Victorian home furnishings is stood on its head with this book! Complete in all facets of the wallpaper craze of that era and including information regarding upholstery, carpet, even clothing and soap. Yep, everything contained arsenic in some form both in the UK and the US.
Wonderful read, exceptionally informative. Highly recommended for anyone curious about that time in the industrial world.
