Houston, We No Longer Have a Problem
2 of 2 found this helpful I could have put a kid through college with the amount of money I’ve spent on frizz-control hairsprays since moving to humid Houston. My male (bald) colleagues failed to tell me about the moist air here... some days it’s so thick you could rehydrate a mummy. My curly Irish hair was untamable. We’re talking Frizz City. And I thought Texans wore cowboy hats to keep the sun out of their eyes. Nooo... it’s to keep their hair from wandering off the ranch. Fortunately, a friend from the Florida coast - equally challenged by constant 173% humidity- recommended Bamboo. Finally, I can walk the Buffalo Bayou and not look like a Wild Woman from the West. Bamboo has tamed my frizzy blues and allowed me to maintain my East Coast coiffure amongst the sagebrush and snakes here in Red Dirt Country. With my locks under control, I can now fully fall in love with Houston. God bless Texas!! God bless Bamboo!
