I dig it!
these "9 songs of ecstasy" as it were, are timeless
and although i hate to admit that i'm a 90's child
some reviews of this disc say it's exactly that
you know, that late 90's trip-hop sound?
i personally don't feel these tracks sound dated at all
quite the opposite
the entire album is a great soul relaxer, very ethereal
and one that i listen to start through finish
(usually a few times in a row)
the vocals are beautiful if not stunning
the drums are classic and tasteful,
not always veering to the trip-hop side of things
think Dead Can Dance, Delerium, Enigma, Enya...
now think about all of those artists but way cooler
and way more mellow, if that's even possible
in addition to the well-crafted tunes,
i dig the celestial artwork of the sleeve
if you appreciate any of the aforementioned artists, then
prepare for your mind to be blown... it truly is a must own

Superb Soundtrack & Crass Comedy
Not at all what you'd expect from RuPaul, it's more like a down & even dirtier version of a John Waters film. Lots of male frontal nudity & crass jokes, but with a KILLER soundtrack.
