7/8" Check Valve For Speedaire & Sears Air Compressors Brass New

Bad design, no way to service
Works as it should but I hate how you can't take it apart because of the way they crimped the side that contains the spring and the Teflon seal. If a piece of dirt gets stuck between that seal, you can't effectively clean it like you're able to with most other check valves. The worst thing is that this is the only kind that's available for the 7/8" thread size for the tank inlet. When it comes time to purchase a new one, it might be a good idea to find a reducer to fit a check valve with another thread configuration that is designed properly,
