Brother SE-270D
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought my Brother because I really wanted do embroidery with a machine instead of by hand. My first attempts, even after reading the manual time and time again, were not that great. For some reason it was doing the first letter great but then any subsequent letter were being sewn over the first letter. I plan to keep trying. However, I have had no problems with regular sewing and it moves so quickly and I wouldn't trade it for another machine. It's window with 'the instruction manual' virtually on it is great. When first using the machine it was very helpful. It tells you if anything is wrong, like when the thread is running low or if your pedal is plugged in when it is not supposed to be. It is very light weight but haven't had any problems with it size. I love the machine and would recommend it to anyone.
