Inexpensive Fix
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered two shells because both my keys' silicone button covers where extremely worn. I received the covers. The instructions where in Chin-glish (sucky translated English from Chinese). I took apart the original Toyota keys. You have to pry the keys with a fine, strong blade. Then pry the electronic board and a magnetic looking part from within the key. I them popped the two pieces into the new shell. The pieces seemed loose fitting. Once I snapped the shell together the fit of all four pieces was precise. NO GLUE REQIURED. I no longer have a Toyota logo in my key, I don't care about that. The buttons work perfectly. The key operates just fine in the key slot. I highly recommend it.
