Can be nice pen. Be aware of variable quality nibs.
The nib & feed of the pen pen bears a visual resemblance to a Sheaffer Triumph.
My pen was fine, but I have heard that Quality Control is intermittent.
So there are nibs with 'issues' out there that may require attention with the micro-mesh. The pen has what, to me is a standard Aerometric style filler.
You dip the pen in the ink, then press & release the bar several times & give it time for the ink to fill the reservoir between presses.

Well made, could be run for free
It really is possible to run the stove for free if you don't mind feeding it small chunks cut down from shipping pallets or floor boards. If you ask if you can have broken boards where there is building work happening you may be lucky, especially if you stress you are only interested in short bits.
Gathering wild fuel... I suppose that you really should find the land owner.
For me. Being in Britain Hawthorn is the best available burning wood. I get some lengths from mature hedges that are quite dead and dry. For this stove it should be cut to lengths that are not as high as the ring of air holes. Place the fuel in vertically and pack it in enough that it won't all fall over.
The stove works best lit from the top. I have some 'eco' firelighters that are wood fibre infused with pine oil.
However you have lit it you should wait until the charge of wood catches before you put on the pot support. Then wait until flames start to issue from the ring of air holes before you start to cook.
One charge not replenished should last 20 minutes. This should be enough to fry the bacon and boil a kettle for a brew.
I definitely endorse buying one of the folding aluminium wind-screens.
I have not used the stove in the wild yet and I do not know how much heat the stove transmits to the ground. Well, you don't really want to be leaving scorch marks everywhere you go & killing the grass. The ideal situation is to leave only footprints behind. Ash can go in any bins present only if you ensure there are no live coals left by quenching.
This stove seems better designed than my last one, or else the new way of firing cuts out nearly all smoke.
No pictures to add because I haven't been out with it yet.

Great pen for school pupils or a adult with small hands
The pen has a very slim section, which would make it particularly suited to smaller hands.
I inked the pen immediately after getting it out of the package with Diamine Midnight blue/black from a bottle by using the converter which is included. You should also be able to use International size cartridges.
My preference is saturated blues, or darker shades.
The real test of the pen would be how it writes with a weaker washable blue cartridge, but I have not done this.
If you were buying the pen for a school pupil, the pen is dirt-cheap.
I urge you to buy a handful to allow for losses, which will inevitably happen.
