Destroying history for junk journaling is MONSTROUS. I AM BEGGING YOU, please at least make digital copies before you destroy the only copies of historical records, aka ledgers. I will digitize any ledger you like for free, and pay all shipping and handling to and from my lab, just message me. I am a researcher and document conservationist. I regularly purchase documents, primarily ledgers, for student conservation projects which are sometimes donated or resold to archival and museum organizations after they've been conserved. And, for digitizing and curating into a larger genealogical research collection.
