No guts
Bought this to replace the very scratchy vinyl copy I have from the 1970s. A 180 gram press - but the inside cover is so blurred you can read the notes from the film . The sound is nowhere as gutsy as my Aussie press Astor label original even with the scratches . It lacks the real full sound of the original. But still worth having as a great part of the Hendrix catalogue

Incredible
Paints a complete picture of the band ive loved for 50 years. Totally miss understood bo their own record companies —- the brothers Mael deserve credit for creating the Pet Ship Boys /Erasure / Human Leauge sounds . All their albums deserve credit and this music gives the tge spotlight the deserve

Superb- A winner
I’m not one for remixes but this is exceptional. The trend to orchestrate old recordings has met with mixed results. This album’s approach widens the idea to just do individual hits from the 80’s and it works. Best tracks include Bowie’s Let’s Dance and the Cars Drive.
