Should come with English instructions
3 of 3 found this helpful It's a fun gadget but it needs instructions. It was attached to a cardboard with Chinese writings. Even the photos didn't really explain that well. I had to figure this out myself. Basically you put the dome part over one end of the egg. Then you lift the hammer part up, let go, and it hammers over the dome creating a circular crack. Have only used it over hard boiled eggs. Not sure how well it works with flesh eggs.
