NEW Alpinestars MX / Enduro Off Road Toe Cap Kit + Sidi / Oxtar Boots

Fitted my Sidi Courier boots too.

Despite being a different brand, these Alpinestars toe caps fitted my Sidi Courier boots perfectly. Not only that but they are slightly thicker metal than the original Sidi ones and cheaper too! The only negative point (and it is a very slight negative...) is that unless you have a heavy duty staple gun, the staples can be tricky to push in. To start with, I fitted the toe caps and screwed them to the sole, then I used a 1mm drill bit to create a pilot hole where the staples would go. I then manually pushed one staple at a time into the pilot holes and used a pair of mole-grips to push them fully into place.

Best on the market!

I've used other budget 'look-alike' chains which although cheaper they don't last half as long as a decent branded one. The DID ones are well worth paying the extra. The sprockets are also good quality which combined with the chain are nice and quiet. They're simple to fit and rivet (even without a dedicated riveting tool).

Does what it says!

Pretty standard Oxford merchandise. It's not top-of-the-range quality but that's reflected in the price. I use it often and it's still as good as new. The downside of it is the size... The spare visor for my Dexter helmet only just fits. Having said that though, it does fit - just a little tight!
