Rock solid and stable. No more tuning issues, quick string changes.
1 of 1 found this helpful These locking tuners are awesome! No tiring winding of strings around a post, no more tuning the guitar after every song I play. The lock-pin is two part, so the turning bit doesn't go against the strings. I t has a separate tip in front of the turning pin inside the post that makes contact with the string and does not turn as you turn the wheel to lock the string. Mechanical play almost non- existent. Very solid build. Bottom is hollow and not flush but it helps prevent movement on surface. Plating is of a sterling grade. Locking wheels are self-retaining to prevent you from losing them.
Just remember to order the right post hole-size. The **33 series are for 23/64 " or 9.1mm holes, and the **35 series are for 25/64 " or 10mm holes, else you have to either drill or fill to compensate.
Very good quality product and I am well impressed.

Excelent pickups. Good match for Gibson Les Paul guitars.
1 of 1 found this helpful Perfect for the tone I've been looking for for a long time. A perfect match for Gibson Les Paul guitars. They are versatile too for other kinds of rock and metal too. An upgrade to burstbuckers for sure, even the modded burstbuckers in the 2020 Slash signature guitars. I'm sure Slash would change them out for these Seymor Duncans anyway, whether its for APH-1 or APH-2's.
Only downside, as they are single conductor, if you want split coil, you will have to splice a wire from between the two coils. Not sure if it will affect the humbucking tone, but I don't imagine it would too much.
Great pickups and I am very impressed.
