Amazing Board
2 of 2 found this helpful I've seen so many reviews on all the x99 boards, even the high-end boards have had quality and defect issues.
I got this board back in 2014 because at the time it was the only board they stocked, but now that I look back, its crazy to see so many x99 boards that have had bad defects or failers over time.
The ASUS x99a has never caused me issues and never let me down, it has a super easy interface and easy overclocker. if you can find one of these today, it's my recommendation. My current one has been in my rig since 2014 and still running strong.

Amazing controller
The feel and quality is outstanding, I'd say same as a Xbox elite controller, the modular joysticks are amazing.

Great Performace for the price
This Motherboard was far better then I had imagined, I have mine running an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9700, with 16 Gbs of DDR2 Ram and an AMD HD 7970, so far it's running new games like Battlefield one, and Destiny 2 at solid 50 fps.
Great motherboard for a very good price, would happily order another one for another build sometime.
