Works, is fun, but EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
1 of 3 found this helpful I work with electricity, so I bought this as a novelty. If used casually it is an extremely dangerous product, that heats water by passing electricity through it. Touching the water it is heating, or the container the water is in (if the container is metal) poses a serious electrocution hazard. I was very entertained by it, but would not recommend it to anyone who just wants to heat water. While it does work, there are far safer ways of heating water.
