Not Mabuchi
4 of 5 found this helpful This is not a genuine Mabuchi motor, I installed it in my Lexus RX300 and come to find out when locking the doors this one would unlock and vise versa when unlocking, this one would lock. The polarity is backwards from the original Mabuchi motor. so it spins in the opposite direction. It wasn't worth sending back being it was only $6 with free shipping.
I decided I would bend the tabs out holding the plastic cap/brush holder and rotate it 180 degrees, I had to trim a little plastic off of the cap to get it to fit and got it to spin in the right direction. It seemed to not run as smooth as it did when I first bench tested it but its working now in my truck. when it fails again I will get genuine Mabuchi

Nice shape
