Perfect for a total Flash Photography newbie, love the TTL/CLS system.
Exactly what I was looking for, not over the top, yet, not a cheapy. This is my first flashgun, just getting into Flash Photography. Does everything that I want it to, as far as I know. Unit is easy to read, lightweight, and I absolutely love the TTL/CLS. And I love the fact that I can use my Nikon d7000 as a commander to activate the Nikon SB-600 wirelessly. I had debated on getting a Nikon Speedlight vs an off brand one. But as recommended by the guy at Ritz Camera Store, you definitely want your first flash experience to be one from your camera manufacturer's. And that's due to the ease of use and TTL/CLS system. This is especially true if you are a total noob with Flash Photography, as I am. Until, I learn how to use it manually, the TTL/CLS system let's me dive into Flash Photography. Later on, I can always pick up a cheapy or generic flashgun. But for now, I am very happy with the Nikon SB-600. Oh, and the reason I purchased this vs. sb-700, sb-800, etc., is because I wanted something that was simple and oh, not so intimidating. The SB-600 is a great flash. All that a newbie would need. :)

A must have Prime Lens! Best bang for your buck. Lightweight & Sharp!!! :)
The best bang for your buck prime lens. The quality of the pictures are sharp and great. This lens has become my all time favorite lens. And has remained on my Nikon D7000 since the day I got it. I love the Bokeh that it produces, especially for portraits. Definitely a great, lightweight, and sharp lens for street photography. This lens will teach you to compose your shots better because it makes you move your feet. Nifty Fifty all the way!!!! Thanks Nikon!!!! :)

Educational, engaging, and overall a great historical documentary.
My husband is a history buff and when we saw this on the History Channel, he couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD so he could watch it over and over again. I'm not much of a history buff but I do have to admit that I was totally engrossed in the series. As they say, "Rome Didn't Fall In A Day." This series epics the fall of Rome and it's rule over other regions. We would definitely recommend this to any history buff or not.
