A hand-held way to get data on paper
For those of us with some pre-internet equipment, this is far better than hand transcribing. I have a small chronograph to record bullet speeds and do some number crunching. Newer ones use the ubiquitous USB cable to go directly to a laptop. Mine uses an infrared diode as a data output to this printer. The on switch on the printer and a few button presses on the chronograph and I have the data and some calculations like the mean velocity, spread and standard deviation in my hand.
These printers are getting old, so look to see if batteries have been left to decay in the battery compartment. Corroded contacts can be repaired or an external power supply may work.

Nice, small bag.
It holds a tube (or two if tight), a folding multi-tool, a couple of tire levers and a small box with patches, etc. I like to keep a couple of light gloves as well, in case I need to play with an oily chain.

Teacher Man
Good book. A memior that's the third book in a trilogy starting with Angela's Ashes. I left mine on an airplane and had to get another copy to finish it.
