Right side Power mirror for ‘03 F150 Super Cab
With installation videos on YouTube it was a simple task to remove and replace the mirror in its casing. The product is great! Where I found issues was when I ordered it the pictures showed multiple wiring choices which I presumed were different connecting plugs. When it arrived the additional wires were not included. The plug attached did not work with the factory plug for my year which I then had to cannibalize from the old mirror and splice onto the new one. The only other thing I found was that when I went to remove the front painted caps to swap them out (the new mirror has a black cap and the old one is painted the silver grey of my truck) the clips that hold in the new mirror are plastic instead of metal like the old ones and a couple of those clips broke off during disassembly (the 4 clips are difficult to get to) making it trash instead of a reusable spare part. Otherwise it fits and works well.

works well and easy to install
Would have worked well if an important piece that adheres and pivots the new backing plate to the old casing and interior works hadn't broken off in the minor accident that caused me to need this item in the first place. If I was able to use this mirror w/backing plate I wouldn't have had to remove the interior panel of the door or have had to paint the outside cap of the mirror.
