"Ray Davies' songwriting really shines on this"
These duet/tribute style albums are almost always hit and miss; there's usually a couple, if not a few, awful tracks where the artists are totally mismatched -- but 'See My Friends' is a real exception. The diversity of guest vocalists reflect the diversity of Davies' own songwriting. Where else could Metallica and Bon Jovi sit comfortably alongside Jackson Browne, Lucinda Williams and Mumford and Sons? But they do here. I highly recommend this album, it's extremely listenable.

Just like Heaven.
The complete works of the fabulous Zombies and more! All the single and LP-sides plus BBC recordings and unreleased demos and alternative takes. A super jam-packed glossy full-colour booklet, gorgeous packaging. There is nothing not to like here.

Ken Burns scores a home run!
Being from Australia, I don't have any great interest in baseball as a sport, but given that I've immensely enjoyed every Ken Burns documentary I've ever seen I thought I'd give this a viewing, and yes, other brilliant piece of story-telling and history.
Like all Ken Burns films, it's the stories around the central story that make this worth watching. It's so intelligently put together. And the visuals are superb as well.
