Arrived DOA! Does not work at all. For a vintage amplifier it was not packaged right. No protection for the front or back of unit. The amp jumpers on the back of unit were smashed in the back breaking them. The high/low gain switch on the back was pushed in and broken. Back corner cooling fins bent and a damaged capacitor inside. Clearly the post office didn't pay heed to FRAGILE written on the outside. These old units are expensive to repair. Not happy.

Works for me

I have used Blum hinges for years in my custom shop. These soft close hinges work very well. This price was right since my local supplier closed his doors.

Chinese or Greek instructions - I don't know

The hardware looks to be sufficient to accomplish the task. I'm not sure how well it will hold up being cast parts. No guarantees on castings. The instructions that came with the product are not good. They do not provide any points of reference to begin the assembly process. There are no indicators on the hardware as to which direction the parts move most efficiently to accomplish the braking action. The measurements appear to be in millimeters, but no clear indication of what metric is utilized. The drawings of the installation are very poor and do not provide adequate information for assembly. I'm feeling this out as I go to achieve the desired results without damaging my piece. Jury is still out on the hardware, but a serious effort should be made to improve the quality of the instructions. Imperial measurements should be included for the American Market.
