Container is somewhat small and the filter ridge inside does not let dust fall easily.
1 of 2 found this helpful The decanter does not empty easily. The push button releases the bottom to let the dust/debris fall, but my carpet is very thick and the dust/debris contains a lot of carpet fiber "dust bunnies", so the dust debris gets stuck and does not easily fall out of the dust container. So, every time I have to stick my hand up into the dust container and pull it out. Then, I have to wash my severely dust covered hands. For being a full-size vacuum, the dust container does not hold very much. With my former vacuum, I could pretty much clean one room before emptying the container, but with this one, I have to empty it four or five times PER room. Not a happy camper about either one of these issues. It is also my fault for not looking closer, but I do miss that this particular model does not have a headlamp.
