Low quality plastic - high recurring revenue for manufacturer
Hayward sells a ton of these parts for a reason. They manufacture the lateral assembly with known defect, resulting in predictable failure rates of the unit. Mole failures - more sales - more profit for the fat corporate swine @ Hayward.

Beware! Not the same product
I have been ordering PhosFree for years to handle rain water that contains a lot of phosfats. The bottles always contained milky white liquid that required shaking before putting in the pool.
The new bottles I ordered contain crystal clear liquid that has no smell, no viscosity, no sediment. I put it in the glass next to the same glass filled with regular water. There is no way to distinguish where is expensive PhosFree and where is the regular free tap water.
Is this a scam?

Great battery grip for Sony A7Rii

When you use two batteries, they are used first till dead then second. Status for both batteries is displayed on camera monitor.
Grip is not heavy by itself, but with two batteries it adds considerable heft to the camera. Most important, it has full hand grip for both horizontal and vertical positions, so your little finger no longer simply hangs in the air below camera.
At about quarter of the price of original grip with additional super useful remote this is an unbeatable deal.
