Buy a reconditioned unit from a trusted supplier and you can't go wrong.

The item does exactly what it says on the tin and 8GB is more than enough memory for my needs. Good battery life and easy to use the item is robust and produces a pretty good sound. Whilst I wouldn't harbour an Ipad the Ipod is fine and doesn't give you too many head aches when attaching it to a "normal" computer.
