A safety hazard
These 2 plastic fuel containers would have been a good buy if they had been made properly but the injection moulding was poor so the caps did not make a vapour-tight seal with the canister. Consequently high volatile contents such as petrol soon evaporate. In my case I lost about 10% of the petrol put in the can in 3 days. Laid on their sides, both cans leaked their contents.
This failing makes these containers unfit for pupose in the form supplied and a serious safety hazard. I spent half an hour with a Stanley knife and file reprofiling the top of the can so that the cap made a vapour-tight seal.
