Daft not to replace whilst aervicing
If you have an R53 and have the front apart and servicing other hits it's daft not to replace the water pump, it's back driven off the supercharger and often gets forgotten about due to not being belt driven hence a lot are still on their upto 15 year old pump with often heavily leaking seals (2 seals join it to the block)

15 years of working on cars and ive just got one, had a couple of New Minis in of late which are not only notorious for air locks when bleeding but the latest also having a leak, for this money this tool is invaluable, sorted couple of common leak areas and then use this tool to hold system in Vaccumn for 15 mnutes before refilling with coolant, i must point out the speed of this item also, takes about 15 mins to successfully fill a Mini, with this its done in less than 2..
