One of my all time favorite movies.

This is definetly one of my favorite movies of all times. I watched it every day during a summer break from college. What I like the most is how Rita gets to grow and love herself. She starts as a humble hairdresser and she becomes a knowledge-hungry literature student. Her tenacity to become a more educated individual reminds me of so many women that are expected to be uneducated, but when given the opportunity to study, will whole-heartedly embark on the endeavour improving their self-esteem as well as giving themselves a whole new perspective on life. The perfomances are superb and the plot is enchanting.
