Nice toy! But, so not a toy! May buy another!

Easy Peasy
Looks and works exactly as described. I held it in place to check fit, the new one was perfect, and more than twice as thick as the old one, which was bearly 1 mm. I wiped the face of the old mirror and the back of the new one with rubbing alcohol, waited for them to dry, then applied a few thin stripes of a silicon glue, put the new mirror in place and clamped it in place with a really small bag clip ... worked like a charm, and, now I am pretty sure the compound mirror is thick enough to withstand my scraping off a bit of snow. It's been a week, looks and works great. Should have upgraded to a heated mirror, because I'll bet the wiring is in there ... but, it's the wrong time of year to fool around outside ...
