My grandkids love it!
This is one of the boys favorite toys at grandpas house. Great imagination development toy.

Verrrry nice camera!
3 of 3 found this helpful I was an old 35mm guy who almost got out of photography when digital took over, but I got into point and shoot... with a lot of disappointment. When I finally decided to get a DSLR, I was appalled at the prices so I started looking for used. This camera was highly recommended by everyone I found and I am NOT disappointed. While I am having to re-learn a few things and learn anew a few things that weren't part of 35mm, it is a huge jump from point and shoot (even though mine was a pretty good one.) I am impressed with the speed at which you can shoot and the options for shooting. Picture quality is amazing (you can count feathers on a bird's head) and it's soooo easy to print, post or publish great pictures.
NOTE: YOU ARE GOING TO WANT TO GET GOOD LENSES!!! Mine came with the kit 18-55mm lens (adequate for shooting indoors, people and close shots), but I found a 55-200mm also on ebay for a very reasonable price. It is a must if you want to shoot from a distance or get great wildlife closeups - get as close as possible to shoot and then blow em up on computer.
It is lightweight, has a very nice feel in your hands (not too small or bulky, so you can steady it nicely) and the lens and controls are a piece of cake. Quick review of your pics works nice and you can really get a good idea of whether it's a keeper or not immediately. Get a big SD card and take 100's of shots.
I HIGHLY recommend this camera, especially if you're relatively new to SLR (or coming back).
