I might sell my tube screamer
If you’re on the fence, buy the pedal. I’m taking my tube screamer off my pedal board, it actually sounds thin and cheap next to the Pure Sky. I play a Gibson Les Paul Standard through a Vox amp, and this pedal was the missing ingredient to make everything sing. As mentioned ad nauseum, it’s quite transparent. But it’s musical too, it can do plain EQ, it can do clean boost, it can do light shimmery overdrive, and it can go into a growly Neil Young distortion. It plays wonderful with my LP and Vox MSB25, and sounded great iRigged into GarageBand. My pedalboard is mostly MXR and EH, and this $30 pedal is blowing them all away. I got the version with black knobs and lettering, looks great. Thanks again, looking into more Caline pedals! I do have the Snakebite Reverb, which replaced an EH Holy Grail.
