The ultimate gun for radical customization. Rugged and reliable.
1 of 1 found this helpful I own a Tippmann 98 custom and I later bought my girlfriend's son an A5. I quickly fell in love with the A5. It would not be much good in a speedball game, but for woodball, it can't be beat. It is extremely rugged and reliable. The cyclone feed is very cool; it mechanically loads a new paintball into the chamber every time it is fired; without batteries. As it is very modular, It is absolutely made to be upgraded and customized. If you like the MilSim style, the A5 can be customized to look like an M16, an AK47, a G36, or just about any gun you like; or create your own. I have seen adapters for sale that allow the A5 to use every brand of barrels. It can be upgraded with a programmable select-fire electronic trigger, but it is very formidable with no electronics at all. It can also use a "response trigger" that allows for rapid fire with no electronics. If you want a gun to crawl through the trenches with, this is it. Rough conditions that would destroy a high-end speedball gun won't hurt the A5.
