Works great as a universal temp control
I used this to regulate a 12 volt cooler that ran continuously. It did perfectly. I do wish that it had a temp indication on the dial, but I do realize it is probably on the fridge it is designed to go on.

Pretty dim
They work fine, but pretty dim, compared to OEM. I used one for indoor lighting, good I did, if I used them as turn signals or brake lights, you wouldn't be able to see them in the day.

Nice unit
Does as it should. Shows amps going in and out of battery, or how ever you have your system wired. Negative amps is going into the battery, which I find odd. It is a little chinch, un the fact that you need to see up your charge level of the battery. My other monitor can easily estimate the percentage of battery based on voltage. Another feature is you can tell it how many amp hours your set up is and it will deduct from that while the system is pulling juice.
Mine didn't come with the manual. At least I didn't see it un the tiny box the unit came in. And the leads to the amp loop are really short (6"). So dont expect to mount too far from your electrical system.
