Cold steel Recon 1 - recommended
Very nice knife. As sharp as it is claimed. Blade length is good and all components are well made. It isn't an assisted opening knife but it is very easy to open with one hand. Blade locks in place well no give and no slip. The blade also seems very strong and not easily breakable. The handle grips are great and fit me really well (I have relatively small hands).
Only cons I see is that the knife is a little on the heavy side and relatively wide when closed. For this reason It probably would not be my first choice for an EDC knife - at least for the uses I have at my office during a regular work day.
Overall I am very happy with the purchase and intend to put it to good use. Note the I have not yet had to sharpen the knife yet nor have I put it through any kind of stress testing

Good belt
Ya this belt is expensive. But it works really well. I have had one for two years before buying this one - it is a different colour. I find the cost worth it
