Must have upgrade
I’m just a backyard pit smoker but have had my pit boss 820 since 2015. I wish that I would have done this upgrade long ago. I have done about 10 different cooks of all varying temps since upgrading about two weeks ago and my pit boss has not had a temp difference of more than +- 5 degrees since. My smoker is also outside and I live in VA, outside temps have been very cool. Also my pellet usage is way way more efficient. Recommend this 100%.
