Awesome Sound
My old cheap stereo worked, but I never knew what I was missing until I installed this Alpine CDE-163BT. It has tons of features I haven't even figured out how to use yet, but it was worth the money to get deeper bass and clearer highs. I just wish they'd make them simpler and more intuitive to operate! Mine is installed in a 79 Corvette and it's not easy to lean forward to adjust it while driving.

Dome Light Plastic Dims the Light Too Much
The vendor was great. The item shipped fast and arrived in good shape. The quality of the item was great too. The plastic is a nice looking white. The only problem is that the plastic it's made of is not very clear or translucent. It is fairly opaque. So, when you have the dome lite lens installed it makes the dome light very dim. Take it off and it is bright. I wound up cutting a square hole in the dome light lens so that it still has a finished look, but doesn't obstruct the light from the bulb.
