Whites MX Sport Waterproof Metal Detector with 10" DD Coil, Cap and Headphones

This machine rocks!

I did tons of research on the Whites MX Sport and the Garrett AT pro because I wanted a well rounded waterproof detector that was easy to use, lightweight, and affordable. It seems like most people went with the Garrett because it is slightly less expensive and is loaded with features but the Whites MX Sport came out on top in my opinion so I purchased one. This is my third metal detector and after taking it out a couple of times I can already tell it could be the last one I ever have to buy. It is super well built. You can feel the quality when you pick it up. It was simple to assemble, taking only 5 min. or so and they include the 8 batteries it takes too. It has a very large and easy to read screen. They include a really nice set of headphones for it. The built in programs cover any kind of hunting you could be interested in doing and the ability to customize is unreal. I really like the " High trash " program the MX Sport has since all the parks in my town are so full of junk that they overwhelm my other detectors. I also love the Iron grunt setting. No more digging nails that ring up like quarters. And I am very excited about doing some water hunting when it warms up a bit. So if you cant tell, I really love this detector and recommend anyone interested in it to give it a chance.

Unhappy with this D/A

For over 200 dollars, i expected better than this. No vairiable speed and after a week of use, its rattling like a coin is loose inside.
